Changelog
What changed in v1.2.5
Listing descriptions on widget cards now appear in the language of the page the widget sits on, instead of always showing the directory's original language on translated pages.
The widget builder now uses polished Listeo-style inputs, dropdowns, switches, number controls, presets and a clearer live-preview panel on every screen size.
Embed codes now use a clean `/lpw/v1/embed.js` address instead of exposing the plugin assets folder.
Live previews now load without requiring an allowed domain and show a clear message if preview data cannot be rendered.
Live previews now keep up with the latest edit, the builder uses an even 50/50 workspace, region search stays inside its panel, and long listing titles remain on one line.
Clean embed URLs now use the standard WordPress REST path, so widgets load reliably on nginx sites without extra server rules.
The Fields screen now has searchable groups, enabled and available filters, live counts, clearer field details, quick group actions and a more useful sticky preview.
The Fields screen now gives 50% of the workspace to field controls and 40% to the live preview for a more balanced editing view.
The Fields workspace now uses the full available admin width instead of keeping both columns inside a narrow centred area.
Widget creators can set separate Greek and English names for displayed fields, and field arrows now control the real card order even when the title is placed above the image.
Greek and English field names are now controlled globally by administrators from the Fields screen and are no longer editable by widget creators.
Generated embed codes now use an nginx-safe loader URL, so widgets render correctly on external websites instead of failing when the host returns a static-file 404 for `embed.js`.
Listing photos now fill a stable media frame without gaps or oversized images breaking the card.
Widget creators can choose exactly how many listings to display, independently from the desktop, tablet and mobile column layout.
Versioned assets now refresh immediately after an update, preventing old builder code from resetting the listing limit and old embed styles from leaving gaps around images.
Widgets now include client-side pagination with a separate “Listings per page” control.
Allowing codepen.io now also permits CodePen's official preview domains, so widgets render inside Pens and preview modes.
Saved widget changes now appear immediately on embedded sites without waiting for browser or CDN cache expiry.
Pagination controls now appear only below the listings, and layout presets no longer reset the chosen listing totals or page size.
Every accepted listing interaction is now sent as its own reliable click event, including repeated clicks from the same visitor.
Card clicks are now captured directly before navigation, preventing host-site scripts from swallowing normal or middle-button listing clicks.
Widget creators can now choose whether each widget shows every listing on the site or only listings they own.
Events can now be ordered by their next start date, with the soonest upcoming event shown first.
Category names, labels, titles and other widget text now display characters such as &, quotes and apostrophes correctly instead of showing HTML entity codes.
The Widgets and Analytics admin pages now provide a polished operations dashboard with clearer performance cards, better action hierarchy, responsive tables, stronger filters, charts and empty states.
Analytics traffic visualization is now a responsive dual-series line and area chart with impressions, clicks, readable axes, accurate zero-traffic days and exact values on hover.
Desktop, tablet and mobile column settings now respond to the real widget container width, preview device buttons show the correct layout, and independent row settings control the visible cards at every breakpoint.
Event dates now keep the correct day and month in every visitor time zone, pagination returns visitors to the first card, and field labels no longer show duplicate colons.
Widget dates now use the consistent DD/MM/YYYY format for every visitor.
Event cards now show the original start time alongside the date in DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm format.
Event dates and times now use a clearer DD/MM/YYYY - HH:mm layout.
Simple List widgets now show every selected field reliably, with long titles, descriptions and custom values wrapping inside a full-width content area.
Location fields now follow Listeo's public address logic, so widgets fall back to the full listing address when the short address is empty.
Administrators can now enforce separate title and address character limits for Grid, Simple List, Compact and Carousel widgets, with an interactive live preview and no per-widget override.
Multiple ListingPilot plugins can now run together without shared licensing or update components causing a critical site error.
English and other translated host pages now load their matching WPML or Polylang listings and labels from a separate language cache.
A widget's selected accent colour now remains authoritative on external pages, including the Open now badge.
The complete embed code is now visible automatically without manually enlarging its field.
Sites translated with TranslatePress now show translated listing titles, descriptions, addresses, categories and regions inside widgets on foreign-language pages, instead of falling back to the original language.
Cards on a translated page now link to the matching translated listing page instead of the original-language one.
Listings that were written or imported in a different language than the directory's own now appear in the page's language on every widget, matching how the directory itself displays them.
Field labels now follow the language of the page the widget is placed on. A visitor whose browser is set to another language no longer sees that language's labels mixed into the card.
The card button and the reviews wording now use the built-in translated text when no label has been entered for that language, instead of showing the field's internal admin name.
